Conventions are usually seasons of transformation for many people. There are people who go to convention and their lives are transformed for the better, to do greater things...

Conventions are usually seasons of transformation for many people. There are people who go to convention and their lives are transformed for the better, to do greater things for God. Yet there are people who go to convention just for the sake of traveling!  People have gone to conventions for varying reasons, ranging from the more spiritual aims of finding answers to ones problems , getting revelation knowledge, directions for life and so on to the less spiritual aims of finding husbands (laugh oh), meeting former friends in previous chapters, and so on. None of these aims are wrong per se, but the primary reason for convention, for me,  is to encounter your creator. One on One. Other things na  jara. 

Let us take a look at the stories of some people, from previous conventions in FECA, particularly the 2020 Kingdom Addict convention.

WHICH CONVENTION! YOU ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE!!

If you like leave the house without our permission don't bother coming back......

That was the beginning of the hot argument with my parent after saying no to me in 2018 Jesus convention. In 2019, I understood my parents needed hard hands and I followed them that way, aah I just couldn't miss IN HIM convention after my parents said I wouldn't dare leave the house, kept talking and talking, after much begging from me and my executives, still no approval. The D day for convention came we all woke up that early morning and prayed against parental restrictions and finally my parents allowed me when everyone had zeroed their minds am not going. With so much excitement I packed my bag and IN HIM CONVENTION I went eeh I lost my voice the second day, it was in that convention I knew I could pray for long, even with my voice gone I still prayed in FECA prays till the end, I only slept in one session through out the whole convention, I saw light, I saw things. The fire did not just end there oo, I took it to my house and it burnt the whole anger in my parents' heart and it was like nothing ever happened.

Wow,

Okay before sharing my convention experiences, thank God for the annoying queue and meal at the canteen, the ulcer thought it was strong until it met convention. it saw hunger and disappeared o. Thank God for the bath some of us had once in 2 days at Jos ( those on this table pls don't take it personal okay). Shaa I am glad that I didn't adapt to the G&G system. ( garri and groundnut).

FECA prays was one of my amazing moments, they said 8hrs and I was wondering how it will happen. I looked around at the beginning and people were actually praying. Las Las I did 8hrs o and I didn't die but I was changing positions shaa.

Before I attended the convention my president kept saying if you attend this convention and your life isn't changed come I'll pay you all you spent. You know the rest of the story.

Ehen, a wowing experience I had was when Apostle Ernest spoke that Chinese tongues at Jesus Convention. Kai I can't forget.

FECA conventions have been truly impactful for me, All the stress are worth it. Now I am telling YOU if you attend Kingdom Addict and your life doesn't experience a change, I'll pay you all you spent.

MY CONVENTION EXPERIENCE

Warning: It's quite a long one.

I attended my first Convention as a fresher in 2017. Restoration, Akwa Ibom Zone.

Then, I was no naive and the thrill of leaving my parents alone and traveling in the company of total strangers, was second to none.

Did you know that I nearly missed that convention, because a day to the convention, I got a huge disappointment? My transport fare that was promised was no longer available. I had to call my President then, Nsa Amah after I had cried my eyes out like for 2hours - I know you might find it hard to believe. Then he told me to pack my bags and come the next day. I borrowed money from my sister to purchase my toiletries and a few snacks and that was it.

On the way to convention, somewhere before Itu bridge, our bus was stopped by an officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps and one thing led to another and there was a mix-up and innocent me, was told to come out of the vehicle and do frog jump... Prince Ekanem, Bright Jerry Richy can remember this. God came to my rescue and a Police Officer, intervened.

THE MAIN THING

From the opening night I lost my voice. I had never felt so excited in my spirit before. I cried, sang and worshipped God. I sincerely felt His presence.

Then 48hours later, during one of Pastor Ezekiel Atang's session, I prayed in tongues for about 5 minutes.

Immediately, I came to the realization of what happened, it stopped.

All efforts to repeat what I said before proved abortive.

That was where my hunger began. One month later, in the month of September, I got filled with the Holy Ghost, without laying of hands in my church, I mean like in front of everyone.

This is coming from someone, who made a heat of those, who spoke in tongues.

And since then, the journey has been a wonderful one. I anticipate Kingdom Addicts 2020.

May God bless the people that invented garri, that substance is a life saver. 

And the one that thought to combine the garri-groundnut mix, you were thinking well. You had us in mind. FECA took me straight outta ma state in 2015 to the Kingdom Age convention Isa 9:6.

It was an adventure of the Christian Jungle. It was Fun and was mad. I met and created relationships.

Back then i didn't have fine shoes, the shock of realization dawned on me when some FECAites where giggling (laughing and talking to themselves) at me, It pained me real bad. ;( .

Very importantly, I use to wonder what makes people fall on the ground and roll. Until I met a certain Ifeanyi Uwakwe.. Malaria had battered me and it wasn't funny, he gave me a minute hug that lasted forever.  Since then I respected spiritual things, if you are sick around me my brother forget it you will be heal. 

I prayed the bit I could on Saturday... I couldn't kill myself. I had to video them praying cos I didn't understand what was going on. Lets stop already na.. 6hrs Mehnn.. But I returned home with Joy... Only Joy. It didn't last long tho, but the experience has never been erased. Imeobong David. FECA Convention Experience.

My convention experience was superb, I was a total babe pampered to the core at home who left for Kaduna state @Love revolution! The sleepless nights joining convention rehearsal for the first time wasn't funny because we had to stay back after everyone had gone to rest. Feeding was a challenge for me at the first convention but rest was what I extremely battled with. I eventually had a face to face encounter with Apostle Joshua Selman. Oh how I wish I knew him back then but the impact still remained seeing young folks pulling out their dresses, wristwatches and other important belongings was crazy, if I had known I would have even licked his shoes. Kaduna state weather isn't funny but we still had to bath with ice water lol.... See you in Port Harcourt!

Convention convention

Hmmmm....well I never had a parental constraint as far my parents know one or two FECAites and that was one win.

For me I taught convention was like milk and honey...I was expecting a sweet bed with bed spread and maybe duvet so I didn't take anything to convention except my clothes....

Welcome to Abuja (Jesus Convention).

For the bed and cold story...OMG may his name be praised.

I was a very shy type but when I got there I made a lot of friends from other zones...I slept in between sessions.

Then Saturday came I was thinking FECA praise...immediately I entered I saw no chairs, then I taught it's going to be mad praise.

I started hearing some funny tongues.

1hr, 2hrs, 3hrs......for 7hrs! 

But I got the baptism of the Holy Spirit...and I got cured from my sickness.

And I was blessed.

FECA regional convention 2019 tagged "In Him". This was my first FECA convention.

My most superb moment was FECA prays. As a babe spiritually, I never expected that I would pray all through and not get tired. The fasting part of it even worsened the case in my mind. I woke up that morning with the mind that out of six hours, I would pray for three hours and then I'll sit down and rest my head the rest of the times.

On getting there, there were no chairs... I concluded that it was over for me. But when I looked around, there were pillars that I could lean on, so there was hope.

We started praying and I told my self that when I was tired I would locate a pillar.

I began praying and noticed I wasn't getting tired.

To God be the glory, I prayed the six hours and was willing and able to do more. It was a whole new experience and dimension for me.

That's my Convention experience. Thank you  I look forward to convention this year.
