With the history of FECA deeply rooted in prayer, it is good to note that one of the core pillars that moves mountains, not only in an organization like FECA, but in every other Christian organization, is prayer. FECA prays is one of the exercises that every Fresher must go through in FECA. Usually, it shocks the Fresher as to what these people (FECAites) are doing (while FECAites are praying). Well, FECA prays is a lifestyle that you can not find in any other organization. It is a unique lifestyle in FECA that it leaves its remembrance in the mind of any Fresher that just comes into FECA. In FECA pray, fervent prayers are made by young people and it lasts for hours.

Important Points to note Concerning FECA Prays:

FECA prays is a prayer sessions that usually lasts for over six hours. It usually starts by 6:00 AM and ends probably around 12:00 or it can exceed that time.

FECA prays is a session that is usually done in every FECA gathering anywhere in Nigeria. For instance, if there is a gathering of FECAites from all zones, there must be FECA Prays session. Some of the gatherings that you will usually experience FECA Prays session in National Conventions, Regional Conventions, National Leadership Retreats, National Leadership Training, and so on.

FECA prays is often done on Saturdays.

FECAites always wear T-shirts, or polo or FECA T-shirts while engaging in FECA prays.

There is the presence of Ex-officials and FOSM members during and after FECA prays sessions.

Every FECAite is expected to be fasting during FECA Prays session.

Because of the fact that FECAites pray violently, there is always a piling of all the chairs away from the reach of the youths in order to have enough space to walk while praying during the session. One can change position as she wants and relocated if she is not comfortable staying around her close friends during the session...
