Who is a FECAite?

The Federation of Colleges Ex-Students Christian Association (FECA), was formed in the year 1990 at Calabar in Nigeria. The names of the girls are listed below:

The association's doctrine is firmly rooted on the truth of the Holy Bible and her membership is spread and it is open to ex-students of secondary schools and colleges including those who are in the tertiary institutions. The clear vision of FECA (Federation of Colleges Ex-Students Christian Association) is "Redeeming the desolation of our land and generation" and it is derived from the book of Isaiah 61:4. the motto of FECA is "Keep the Vision Burning".

FECA was formed with the sole aim of redeeming the desolation of the land and generation and she is set to do this at the national, regional, zonal and chapter levels. It is at the chapter levels that one finds the emerging leaders who eventually become national executives, regional executives, and zonal executives. And these people are FECAites. But who is a FECAite?

A FECAite is an individual who identifies with FECA Nigeria, with the sole aim of redeeming the desolation of the land and generation. This last statement is derived from the vision of FECA Nigeria and it is good to note that FECA Nigeria is a non-denominational Christian organization that started in the year 1990 at Federal Government Girls College, Calabar. Ever since that time, the vision of FECA has been burning in the lives of as many that run with it. Over 40,000 people have received great leadership skills from the training that they received while serving at the chapter level, zonal level or the regional and national level in FECA. They are doing well today. This is because FECA teachings are sound and discipleship is being taken seriously that is why a Fresher who remains in FECA cannot be the same within three months of meetings attendance.

A FECAite is also someone who belongs to a home chapter in one of the zones and is committed in that chapter. A zone in FECA means State, for instance, if one says Ebonyi zone, he is referring to FECA chapters that are in Ebonyi State, in Nigeria.

Also, it is good to note that a FECAite is an individual who has undergone the Foundation Bible Class of FECA Nigeria in his chapter, or cell and he or she is one who loves to serve the Lord and runs with the vision of FECA, and is guided by the doctrinal belief of FECA Nigeria.

What do I have to do to become a member of FECA?

Membership in FECA is voluntary. FECA membership is open to everyone who is a born again Christian. Membership is also open to born again Christians who are graduates of Federal Government Colleges and Secondary schools in Nigeria as well as students of Universities, Colleges of Education, Polytechnics, and Vocational Training schools and Technical Schools. Today, there are many FECAites in Nigeria, and there are yet may more in the making. Some of these FECAites are working abroad and they assist in many ways to the home chapters or zones that made them. These member of FECA who are working class, as mentioned earlier, are the Senior Members, and they have a forum that is called the FECA FOSM (Forum of Senior Members).

There is one thing that I like about being a FECAite. Someone might have a different view about being a FECAite, but for me, I know that being a FECAite is one of the best things that ever happened to me because it is in FECA that I found purpose. You Too Can Become A FECAite!
