FAQ: How can I become a member of FECA?
FECA is a Christian association which stands for Federation of Colleges Ex-Students Christian Association and it was founded in the year 1990 by a group of ten girls in the city of Calabar, Cross River State. These ten girls include the following individuals:
1. Edak Isangedighi
2. Eme Ebiefe
3. Emeofe Okupe
4. Folasade Ogundeji
5. Nse Williams
6. Grace Abasanga
7. Mildred Ephraim
8. Funke Allen
9. Patricia Bebia and
10. Nkeiru Uyawunne.
Over the years, the association has experience massive membership growth because her membership is open to all born again Christians who have graduated from any of the Federal Government Colleges in Nigeria or from any secondary school in Nigeria. Her membership also encompasses born again Christian youths and students of Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education and Vocational Training Schools.
The criteria to become a member of FECA Nigeria is that you have to be a born again Christina who have graduated from any of the secondary schools in Nigeria or any Federal Government College, or you have to be a student in any tertiary institution in Nigeria because the reason why FECA was formed was for the secondary school leavers and those who are in the university or tertiary institution. Note that to be a member of this prestigious association, there are no registration fees attached because freely have ye received, freely give and the monetary value which the individual may wish to provide cannot be compared with the value that she would receive after three months in FECA.
Also, to be a member of FECA, there is no consideration for the race or background of the individual; there is no consideration of the tribe or ethnic affinity because FECA membership is all-embracing regardless of class or previously held religious beliefs.
