Despite the festive season, there are some Christian organizations that believe this is a period that calls for intense fasting and prayer. Because it is a period that epitomizes waste of blood in many parts of the world through accidents and the likes. And because people are prayerless, they tend t o fall pray to the devices of the devil. As the saying  goes, "a prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian." Prayer and fasting has been declared by the national leaders of FECA Nigeria to all FECAites amidst the festive season. Many people, especially FECAites are partaking in this call to pray, and each day comes with a prayer focus that everyone prays with.

FECAites are known for being active prayer warriors because this is evident in their program that is tagged, FECA Prays. This is a session of intense prayers made usually for about 6 to 8 hours. On the fourth day of the prayer and fast, the national leaders of FECA Nigeria have enjoined FECAites from all over the nation to pray unitl something happens. For the fourth day, they are to pray for victory over family challenges. Citing the scriptures from Psalm 127:3-5; Isaiah 54:17; Isaiah 62:1-7; Matthew 7:7; Philippians 4:19 adn 3 John 1:2. 

FECAites are to identify the problems facing their families, with respect to lineage, nuclear and extended family, and bring theses issues before God. FECAites are to use the scriptures above as guide durig the course of the prayer and they are to pray fervently unitl something happens.
