In the year 2022, during the 14th National convention of FECA Nigeria, some senior members were called out to speak on salient points concerning FECA and their journey so far in FECA. One of them was Mr. K.C. Onyike, who was asked a question, and I jotted the question down. The question was : How relevant are the relationships you struck in FECA to your life today?

Well, let me give a very brief introduction to the personality of K.C Onyike. According to him, he joined FECA in the year 1995 in FECA Owerri. He was later made the Outreach Committee Chairperson. later, as the chapter progressed in leadership and discipleship, he became the Outreach Coordinator of FECA Owerri. Later again, he became the President of the chapter, and finally he became the National Outreach Coordinator of FECA Nigeria during the 1998-2000 tenure. By profession, he is an Architect as well as a clergy in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, and also a Youths Pastor.

To answer the question, which was asked him concerning the way FECA relationship affected his life and all that...he said "When I came into FECA, members of FECA were my closest friends, we were doing things together. We would go out and gist, play football, cook together and all of these are aside from normal fellowship days. So when we graduated, we moved on to trust each other. Today, looking back, some of our clients are FECAites.

For example, one of my friends in Owerri, Imo State, needed someone they could trust to do something in their company and the thing is something that has to do with huge amount of money. When we finished the first stage, I joined them. But in the second phase of the program, ,I was very busy and they had to employ someone to do the job for them. However, the person did not deliver the job so the company came back to me. Just because of the trust.

So competence is the other thing that makes you good. FECA Talents Squad was what we used to do in those days. It is a platform where young people get to showcase their knack for one thing or another., And as of that time, people knew me as the guy who could do something good. So they call me when they need competent work. So the relationships are very crucial in FECA, even up till now."
