Respect is indeed reciprocal.

      Do unto others what you want to be done to you. This is a statement that we've always repeated like a mantra. Yet its effect can never be lost.

As humans, we tend to be emotionally attached to certain things. And when anyone messes with it, we tend to lose our composure. The same way you react when someone encroaches on your personal space, is the same way every other person on Earth will react.

          For you to be able to live in peace and harmony with your neighbor, sometimes, you need to learn to compromise on certain things. It may not be to your liking but it can't be helped.

Jesus also taught on the need to live in harmony amongst brethren. You can't hope to live this way if you don't learn to embrace their quirks and weirdness.

        By compromising, it doesn't mean you have to give up your beliefs for them. If theirs isn't in alignment with yours, then you shouldn't even be relating with them. Remember, that Iron only sharpens Iron.

         Coincidentally, this is one aspect of life that people find intimidating. They don't want others in their spaces but will gladly trespass or encroach in other's space.

Do exactly what you want to see reflected in your life.

Remember the law of karma;What goes around comes around.

    Life happens when you least expect it to happen. That thing you are doing to people that you feel they have no right to complain, will go before and wait for you. It will come back with full force and bite you hard.

Be careful wherever you are because posterity will always come calling. Posterity will judge you and judge you harshly.

        And when your past comes calling, don't lament because you only brought it upon yourself. It was the exact same way you treated people that others are treating you.

When you help the poor and needy like Job did, help will always come your way when you need it.

When you live a lifestyle of acknowledging Christ as Lord wherever you find yourself, the father in heaven will also acknowledge you as his child.

So, be it physically or spiritually,in whatever way you treat people, so shall you be treated.
