At the recent FECA Imo zone's All Senior Secondary Schools Summit, the winners of the 2025 Mathematics Competition were announced, showcasing exceptional talent among students.
Emerole Laura from Baptist High School emerged as the champion of the competition, demonstrating outstanding mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities and was awarded with fifty thousand naira as the winner's price. Following closely, Onyibo Blessing from Deeper Life High School secured the position of first runner-up and was given thirty thousand naira, while Odu Prosper from Baptist High School took home the title of second runner-up and was awarded with the sum of twenty thousand naira.
The event celebrated not only the achievements of these young mathematicians but also emphasized the importance of fostering academic excellence within schools in the Imo region. Participants and some of the attendees expressed pride in the students' accomplishments, highlighting their dedication and hard work.
The summit aimed to inspire a culture of learning and innovation among students, aligning with FECA's mission to promote educational development in Nigeria.
