Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.

With faith you can move mountains inside and outside your life.

Faith is a weapon that not everyone can access .

It is total lack of unbelief.

It is a point where there is total trust.

It can only be built on a foundation of solid and unapologetic belief in something or an entity that may or may not be totally explained.

       That is how it works with God. He is a being that has never been seen. He is an immortal that can do and undo. So, a total trust in his abilities regardless of his existence is Faith!

         As earlier stated, not everyone can operate in the realm of absolute and certain trust in him. This is because just a little iota of doubt can wreck an entire life time's works.

 

Peter walked on water like Jesus. But he eventually fell through. Why?

He started on a good foot. He was excited because he was treading water like his master Jesus but then he looked around at his surrounding and realized how strong the tempest was. This broke his concentration and fear set in.

Fear is that thing that destroys everything you've worked for.

      You can't operate in a realm of total and absolute faith in God when fear is the dominant part of you.

God is a being that comes and goes in your life according to your level of belief in him. You have to do the extra work in order to keep him.

So also to get his provisions, the key is FAITH OVER FEAR!

It may not be easy but we should always know he is our guard and guide. He is always ready to pull us through whatever hitch we are in.

All he desires is absolute trust in him. 

 

      Abraham has an unbeatable record of being the father of faith till date not because of anything but because he trusted and looked up to God concerning everything.

He never gave in to his weak human side that wanted to give up on God. Even when nothing seemed like it was working, he knew and believed that God was working at the sidelines. He didn't let even the unbelief of his wife to rub off on him .

 

We should learn from Abraham. He was strong in Faith regardless of circumstances and at the end of it all, he reaped the fruit of his labor.
