I learnt how to love in FECA, story by Nzoputa Chibuko

Nzoputa Chibuko, hailing from Nsukka in Enugu State, stands as a dedicated member of the FECA Nsukka chapter—the Federation of Colleges Ex-Students Christian Association. She pursued her secondary education at Shalom Secondary School before advancing to the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), where she is currently working toward her degree in Pharmacy—a field demanding precision, empathy, and resilience. Her leadership within FECA shines through her roles as General Coordinator for the Nsukka chapter and as Jewels Coordinator during the 2018-2020 tenure, where she likely mentored young women, fostering spiritual growth and community bonds.

When asked about her personal FECA story, Nzoputa shared heartfelt reflections: "I will always be thankful to FECA for making me the person that I am today. I have not really become the best but I know that without FECA, I would not have known most of the things that I know today. FECA taught me how to love—not just romantically, but through selfless service, forgiveness, and genuine care for others—and FECA taught me that Christianity is not hard and boring, but easy, joyful, and transformative. I got the right state of mind here in FECA, equipped with tools for daily living, emotional strength, and unshakeable faith. I must say that I love FECA immensely, as it has shaped my character, relationships, and outlook on life in profound ways.”
