Functions FECA National Financial Secretary

The financial secretary is either a male or a female. But in FECA, for a long period of time, financial secretaries have been ladies.  To demonstrate, let us look at the financial secretaries of FECA since 2014:

Names of National Financial Secretaries since 2014

1. Onwuegbu Ihuoma Grace (National Financial Secretary 2014-2016)




2. Rhoda Njoku (National Financial Secretary 2016-2018)




3.  Idiwogu Ujunwa (National Financial Secretary 2018-2020)




4.  Kyocher Ruth (National Financial Secretary 2020-2022)



 

And all these wonderful people have been the National Financial secretaries of FECA since 2014 tenure. With that being said, let's look at the functions of the National Financial Secretary. 

(i) He shall keep all records of FECA’s financial transactions and balance all such monthly.



(2) He shall be responsible for the FECA National funds with the approval of the National President.



(3) He shall be responsible for collecting and recording all funds /subventions from the chapters



(4) He shall prepare and make available at every National Executive council (NEC) meeting a detailed report of all income & expenditure from the National purse.



(5) He shall be responsible to the National President and NEC.
