Akujaobi Nwabugo is a creative lady who lives in Abuja. She attended Federal Government Girls College, Owerri (class of 2005) and the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and she is a Christian. When she was in the University of Nigeria, she served in FECA Nsukka chapter as the Vice President/Bible Study Coordinator in the 2006-2008 leadership tenure. Her FECA experience is an epic. Read her FECA story here
There are a couple of persons in Nsukka chapter who left a few written works before they left the chapter. These people wrote about what they felt is needed for the younger generation of FECAites to know and today, their writings are being spread. One of them is Mrs Afoma Onyechi who wrote about her FECA experience and hygiene tips for men and women.
In this post, I want to talk about the write up of Mrs Nwabugo Akajaobi on the principles that should govern a female hygiene lifestyle. Her write up reads thus:
"Life was designed to be lived by principles and not on miracles. On this I base my claim, that we ought to live right and not fault life principles and keep expecting some miracles. God definitely is God of grace but he says we should not tempt the Lord our God (Exodus 20) and wisdom is profitable to direct.
With that being said, let me highlight the principles that should govern life for us ladies.
- Don't eat late at night, precisely after 8PM.
- De-warm yourself twice a year
- Vegetables and fruit diets, thou shalt employ.
- At least have 10 minutes deliberate exercise daily.
- Brush your teeth at night before going to bed.
- Take a shower at least twice a day.
- Wash your hands before and after visiting the restroom, and do the same after each meal.
- Regular hair cut for the guys.
- Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water each day.
- Take time to relax.
- Drink water before and after exercise daily.
- laugh often.
- Do good to people who are around you.
- Avoid uncomfortable shoes (high heel shoes for the ladies) for long hours.
- Do a whole body check up once in a while
- Avoid a constant fatty diet.
- Eat more of white meat and fish. Red meat and fish can be dangerous to the health.
All of these do not nullify the provision of God for divine health. He gave the Israelites some rule of what should be eaten and what should not be eaten, critically analysing these, you should find that even science points accusing fingers at these things. So friends, for every area of your life there are principles governing them (finance, success etc). Therefore, live by them and still trust God to bless the good you do. Psalm 32:8 and Isaiah 30: 21."
