What are the roles of the National General Secretary in FECA

The National General Secretary is someone that is very instrumental in the running of the affairs of the Christian organization, FECA. Because he is the one that does most of the administrative duties of the organization. According to Indeed.com, the administrator is someone that "performs clerical duties to help an office run smoothly and efficiently. Their duties include answering phone calls and emails, greeting and directing office visitors to designated meeting areas and building spreadsheets or presentations for leadership staff." That is the definition from Indeed.com. However, the case is different in FECA, it is similar in a way, though.
The office of the chapter General Secretary is similar to that of the National General Secretary, just that one of them is higher than the other. For instance, the Chapter General Secretary is answerable to the Zonal Coordinators, but the National General Secretary is answerable to the National President and the National Executive Council. The Chapter General Secretary is limited to the chapter whereas the National General Secretary is concerned with the entire chapters in Nigeria. Whenever there is a covention, he is the person that is always announcing the schedule for the next session, or in a Regional Convention, or a Nationaln Leadership Retreat, or in a National Leadership Training, or any of the major National programs in FECA Nigeria. Soetimes, this is assigned to the Convention Camp Commandant to handle.
With all that said, let's look at the constitutional provisions for the duties of the National General Secretary. According to the constitution,
i. He shall be responsible for the running of the FECA National secretariat.
ii. He shall be in custody of FECA common seal and all documents, stationery, etc. and shall issue it out on proper request. According to informdirect, a company seal, sometimes also called a corporate seal or common seal, is a device for embossing the company's name and usually the company registration number onto documents. More specifically, it is a sealed document which represented an act and deed of the company, which had stronger legal force than a merely signed document.
iii. He shall handle all correspondence between the National Executive Council, the Regions, zones and chapter or any other outside body.
iv. He shall on the advice of the National President summon all National Executive meetings.
v. He shall keep records of all National Congress meetings and produce them on request.
vi. He shall moderate all National Executive Council meetings.
vii. He shall in consultation with the National President and the executive council, publish and make available to the Regions, comprehensive progress reports covering the activities of FECA and projects to be undertaken by the various Regions.
