National Executive Council of FECA Nigeria: Details

The National Executive Council in FECA Nigeria is the organ of the Christian organization that is responsible for the establishment of and amendement of laws and other provisions of the organzation. According to Webster Dictionary, the Executive Council is "a council constituted to advise or share in the functions of a political executive." It goes further to explain that the council is meant to "exercise supreme executive power." This means that " they are in charge of setting policy, of most personnel decisions, and of the internal governance and discipline of their respective bureaucracies in general".
With this in mind, the National Executive Council of FECA Nigeria are the people who have served (ex-officio) and are serving in FECA at the national level and who are eligible to determine what happens in FECA and what does not have to happen. They are also the council that oversees/monitors the activities/affairs of the chapters, and they are responsible for the co-ordination and smooth running of FECA Nationwide.
Also worthy of note is the fact that the National Executive Council is responsible to the National Congress in all their responsibilities to the association. They are people who live exemplary lives in all things as befitting of Christian leaders. They shall not in any way give room for accusation or suspicion of their lives and activities and also, in all things they shall be transparent and honest men of good report.This Council is also responsible for the organization of visitations to the chapters in Nigeria and with all that said, it is good to know that it is the responsibility of the Natioinal Executive Council to draw the timetables and programs for the National activities of FECA.
Who are the Members of the National Executive Council in FECA Nigeria?
Okay, so the National Executive Council duties have been explained, but then, who are the members of the council since they are obviously human beings? Let's get straight to the point. The National Executive Council comprises of the following persons:
(i) Ex-Officio Member
(ii) National President
(iii) National Vice President
(iv) National General Secretary
(v) National Prayer Secretary
(vi) National Financial Secretary
(vii) National Outreach Coordinator
(viii) National External Coordinator
These people are the ones that are duly elected into office and they are automatically members of the National Exectuve Council of FECA Nigeria.
