Luke.9.23-24 “And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.” (K.J.V)

Only the Godly gets to see God.

 The subject is Godliness is one of the most trivial in the Christian faith, an aspect of it was once a trivial matter in my life too.

Before I became born again I had my standards, a self built image, friends, ideas, and beliefs that suited and justified every negative action I did, none of which aligned with God nor His word. So, when I decided to follow Jesus I had to break a lot of standards, I had to lose friends and break many hearts including mine letting go of the people and life I use to have and to take up a new life, the Jesus' life.

Just as Matthew 5:8 says, “You're blessed when you get your inside world--your mind and heart--put right. Then you can see God in the outside world.” (THE MESSAGE)

I got to see God reflected in my life, and it was and is evident to others,countless other individuals too have followed the same pattern.

 Choosing to deny themselves and their former lifestyle to follow Jesus and take up their cross and in doing so, they've all seen God manifest His self to them. 

The blessings of Godliness transcends from here even unto eternity. 

It gives us a place with God. 1 Timothy 4:8

Godliness keeps you commanding all the affairs of life.  

It grants us access to generational blessings, just as Abraham.

Only the Godly gets to see God, and in seeing God you see His glory. 

You too can decide to follow Him.
