The first Fire Conference that I attended was in 2017. I remember vividly. It happened in Enugu. It has always been holding in Enugu and the one of that year was inside one Deeper Life Camp Ground. It was a not-so-good-looking-place. Although the toilet and the bathrooms were superb, with water running everywhere. You could bathe four times if you have the chance. Eleksion (Ugochukwu Nwokedi) and Mamae Precious Mba were our Zonal Coordinator and Zonal Secretary respectively in that time (2016-2018 tenure). I also remember that the theme of the Fire Conference was "The Power of One", and we had Pastor Ifeanyi Uwakwe of FECA Nigeria, featured a lot. he poured out himself on us, and I caught a lot of FIRE! He communicated so much zeal, he let us know what FECA was, why we are doing FECA; why we are preaching and saving souls and how intense all of that meant to God. Our Zonal leaders supplied us with more than enough inspiring words and blessing!

I also remember that during that first Fire Conference of mine, there was a remarkable Sisters Forum that I consider to be the bedrock of some of my life's decisions which have kept me sane and safe till now. I remember Ma Chizurum...

I was a Fresher that just wanted to know God and find my place in His will. Meanwhile old members of FECA Enugu zone had told us of stories concerning Fire Conference, so I was so eager to be in their session and to receive everything. It was a remarkable meeting for me.There was just something about that atmosphere. 

Fire Conference 2017 was the meeting that changed my life. I encountered God on that ground., I was engulefd by the love of God and by the passion in His heart to save allk men. I understood to an extent how my lkife should goI became a solid FECASite in the mind, and eventually growth was evideint. FECA made sense to me because I saw the vision live and I burned with the others.

You don't have to force yourself, push yourself, to get interested in this God thing. You only need to be at the right place, that atmosphere, you only need a touch and everything will totally change for your good. You will never know again how to deny that there is a Holy Ghost! You feel discouraged, bored, tired of everything? God's fire assures  you of a fresh start and so much beauty!

Till tomorrow, I will thank God that my leaders obeyed and made that meeting happen and that I availed myself to be a part of it. Let's enjoy FECA  while we still can!!!
