FECA T Shirts in Conventions: From Overcomers 2022 to Kingdom Mandate 2026

There are many things that FECAites are known for, and in this post, I will be talking about one of those things. I want to talk about T‑shirts in FECA, specifically about the 2022 Overcomers T‑shirts that are now available in preparation for the 14th National Convention, which held in Lagos.
It is a fact that there is always T‑shirts being worn by FECAites in many conventions, both the Regional Conventions and the National Conventions. Shirts are produced for these different conventions, and each design usually carries the identity of that particular season. But it is not only in conventions that shirts are produced. Sometimes, when a chapter is having her anniversary, they decide to produce a shirt to mark the occasion. I have seen FECA T‑shirts with anniversary details printed on them, such as the year of inauguration, the chapter name, and the anniversary theme.
The details that these shirts bear often explain the occasion. For instance, National Convention shirts are usually easily distinguishable from Regional Convention shirts by their design, colour scheme, and the prominence of the national theme. However, it is not really easy for a fresher in FECA to distinguish them at first glance, because most of the T‑shirts do not bear the year that the conventions held. They just bear the theme of the Convention, the scripture, the FECA website, the FECA logo, and some additional texts.
Over the years, these T‑shirts have become more than just clothing; they are walking testimonies of seasons passed, memories shared, and encounters with God. For many FECAites, putting on a convention or anniversary shirt is like wearing a piece of their journey in the body. The 2022 Overcomers T‑shirts, in particular, carry the theme of victory and perseverance, reminding wearers that they are part of a generation called to overcome in Christ. As the 14th National Convention approaches in Lagos, these shirts are not only fashion statements but also symbols of unity, identity, and divine purpose among FECAites.
Subsequent conventions and their T‑shirts
As FECA continues to grow, each new convention brings a fresh theme, a fresh design, and a fresh set of T‑shirts. The 15th National Convention, for example, carried a theme of 15th National Convention – Dominion Mandate – Emergence of Kingdom Emissaries (2024) and the T‑shirts reflected this with bold typography, vibrant colours, and a strong emphasis on youth and leadership. The design often featured a rising sun or a mountain, symbolising the upward journey of FECAites in their spiritual walk.
In the 16th National Convention, themed The Kingdom (2026), the shirts took on a more sober and reflective look. The colour palette was usually dominated by deep blues and greens, representing stability, growth, and the enduring nature of God’s grace. The scripture printed on the shirt often spoke about being firmly rooted in Christ, and the logo was positioned in such a way that it seemed to anchor the entire design.
Regional Conventions also began to follow this pattern. For instance, the Western Region Convention in 2023 had a T‑shirt that combined the regional colours with the national logo, creating a sense of belonging both to the region and to the larger FECA family. The Eastern Region Convention shirts often featured the map of the Eastern states or symbolic elements like the rising sun over the Eastern skyline, reminding attendees of their geographical and spiritual identity.

T‑shirts beyond conventions
Even beyond national and regional conventions, FECA T‑shirts continue to play a significant role. Many chapters now produce their own shirts for anniversaries, leadership retreats, and outreach programmes. These shirts often carry the chapter name, the year of inauguration, and a short tagline that captures the spirit of that season.
Some chapters have even started producing “legacy shirts” for ex‑executives, featuring the names of past leaders and the years they served. These shirts serve as a way of honouring those who have gone before and reminding current members of the foundation on which they stand.
In recent years, there has also been a trend of “theme‑based” shirts for specific programmes. For example, a Leadership Retreat might have a shirt that reads “Equipped for Purpose”, while an Outreach Programme might carry the slogan “Reaching the Lost”. These shirts not only identify the wearer as part of a particular event but also serve as a constant reminder of the mission and vision of that programme.
The future of FECA T‑shirts
As FECA continues to evolve, so too will its T‑shirts. Future conventions are likely to see more innovative designs, eco‑friendly materials, and interactive elements such as QR codes that link to convention websites or social media pages. The shirts will continue to be more than just clothing; they will be symbols of identity, testimonies of growth, and reminders of divine encounters.
In summary, FECA T‑shirts are not just about fashion; they are about memory, identity, and mission. From the 2022 Overcomers T‑shirts to the shirts of subsequent conventions, each design tells a story of a season in the life of FECA. As the body continues to grow and new conventions are held, these shirts will remain a visible expression of the journey of FECAites in Christ.
