As part of the Federation of Colleges Ex-Students' Christian Association’s (FECA Nigeria) ongoing mission to nurture Christian youths and empower them for impactful service, two prominent chapters are preparing to host their 2025 Freshers’ Banquets with inspiring themes centered on faith, influence, and light.

FECA Nyanya: “Salt of the Earth” Banquet
The FECA Nyanya chapter invites freshers and believers to a unique banquet experience described as “fun, faith-filled, and a divine encounter.” The event is designed to ignite attendees’ spiritual influence and encourage them to shine their light in a world in need of hope and transformation.
Highlights of the banquet include:
Soul-stirring worship sessions, engaging games and fellowship activities, deep transformational biblical teachings, and opportunities to connect with fellow freshers and believers.
Anchored on the scripture Matthew 5:13, “You are the salt of the earth,” the banquet encourages participants to embrace their season of influence, inspiration, and impact. Attendees are urged to come hungry for more than just food—ready to be empowered and set ablaze to serve their communities.
FECA Rupkokwu: “Light Bearers” Banquet
Meanwhile, FECA FECA Rupkokwu chapter is counting down to its Freshers’ Banquet themed, “Light Bearers,” inspired by Matthew 5:14: “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.” Scheduled for July 13, 2025, the event promises a powerful spiritual atmosphere where new students will be commissioned as beacons of light in their generation.
