Sometimes we are always waiting for our offender to apologize before we forgive the person, but in this post, I am going to tell you why you need to forgive the person even without him or her apologizing for the wrong that was done.

You see forgiveness means that we liberate ourselves from the feeling of grudge, resentment and disappointment and move on in life.

When someone hurts us, we want them to feel our pain and apologise to us. This doesn’t always happen. So as long as the apology doesn’t happen, the pain stays in our heart unless we forgive them, release that pain, and allow ourselves to heal, and move on. 

Although, it makes us feel better that someone who has hurt us, is apologetic for the pain they caused, don’t let the wait for the apology hold you back. Forgive them, create a distance if needed and reconsider the relationship so that you can heal but also able to move on.
