With the increased anticipation of the forthcoming Eastern Regional convention, 2023, FECAites are doing everything possible to get prepared for the convention and from the media desk of FECA Rivers, we see that reading books is one of the steps being put in place to actually get ready for this convention.
Reading in general is the bedrock, or let's say, one of the bedrocks of growth. Anyone who reads, reads to grow. Because that's is what gives a person the necessary skill, and knowledge to further live stronger. The Bible says that my people perish because they lack knowledge...but in the multitude of counsel, there is safety. So knowledge acquired through reading gives one mental growth and better chances of getting through...(me sef I don't understand).
So what are the benefits of reading books?
- Books develop your personality and help you build self esteem.
- Books stimulate creativity.
- Books increase one's comprehension and builds one's vocabulary.
- They help to clear one's vision and thus aid the decision making process of an individual.
- Books increase knowledge this making you wiser and smarter.
- Books help you to grow.
- Books give you an edge over the competition.
How many books have you read since the beginning of the year? Make it a personal challenge - Start Reading!
