   Conventions in FECA Nigeria are programs that you wouldn't want to miss because you don't have money or because you are busy. This is true because most of the life transforming events that happens in the life of a man happens on the mountain. Everyone, at one point or another, seeks to have an encounter that will transform his life for the better, and where else would you be if not at the mountain.  

   
   
   

   In the year 2023, there are four mountains that are set to transform the lives of people, and they are located at four regions in Nigeria: Eastern region, western region, north-west region and north-east region. These are known as the regional conventions in FECA and they are organized once in two years.

   After waiting for a long time for the details of these conventions, the dates, the venue and locations of the 2023 regional conventions were finally released. This was made known via the official Twitter handle of FECA Nigeria yesterday. According to the report, the four conventions were  supposed to take place in the month of August, however recent IPOB activities in some parts of the Eastern region have made it difficult for this to be a reality. Eastern Regional Convention thus rescheduled to hold in the month of September.

   
   
   

   Eastern Regional Convention, 2023

   
   
   

   Eastern regional convention 2023 is going to be the first regional convention, for the year. The date for the convention is no longer 2nd to 6th of August, 2023. The date is now 6th to 10th of September, 2023. The venue of the convention is Mary Knoll College, Along Opkoma Road, Okuku, Yala in Yala Local Government Area, Cross River North zone. 

   
   
   

   On a lighter note, this means that FECA Okuku chapter and the zone entirely are privileged to be the proud host of the 2023 eastern regional convention because I am seeing Okuku in the venue detail.

   Western Regional Convention 2023

   
   
   

   Western Regional Convention 2023 is a big convention. This convention is going to be holding in Ondo State. The venue for the convention is St. Peter's Unity School, Oye-Mekun, Akure, Ondo State and the date for the convention was slated for 9th-13th of August, 2023. On a lighter note, a lot of FECAites are going to be attending this convention because, the timing is strategic, seeing that it is going to be a holiday period  where most, if not all the schools will be closed. So more people are expected to come for this convention, especially Freshers.

   
   
   

   North-West  Regional Convention, 2023

   
   
   

   North-West regional convention happens to be next in line, after the eastern and western regional conventions because it was slated to hold on the 16th-20th of August, 2023. The theme of the convention is "The Reformers" and the venue is Brighter School, Minna, off Western by-pass, Minna, Niger State.

   
   
   

   North-East Regional Convention, 2023

   
   
   

   And the fourth regional convention that is slated to hold in the month of August, is the North-East regional convention with the theme, "The Harvest". This convention is going to be holding at Redeemed Christian Church of God, Overcomer's Sanctuary, Yelwa, Bauchi State.  The date for this convention was slated for  23rd - 27th of August, 2023.
