FECA Nigeria's conventions have long served as pivotal gatherings for spiritual renewal and leadership equipping among ex-students' Christian communities. Years ago, regional charges like Etinosa Israel's pre-convention message rallied members ahead of key events, and now anticipation builds for the 16th National Convention in 2026.

    Historical Regional Charge

In 2021, amidst Christmas celebrations and preparations for the 2022 National Leadership Retreat, the National External Coordinator, Mr. Etinosa Israel, issued a stirring media message to FECAites. He urged believers to defend cherished truths—righteousness, purity, truth, and faith—equipping themselves with the full armor of God from Ephesians 6, including the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and sword of the Spirit. This regional charge emphasized contending earnestly for the faith, as inspired by Jude, galvanizing leaders and members nationwide for the Abia State convention, which proved compulsory for executives like General Coordinators while open to all.

    2026 National Convention Preview

FECA Nigeria's 16th National Convention, themed "The Kingdom," is set for Plateau State in 2026, billed as a revolutionary moment of gathering and divine encounter. Official PR posts highlight it as a biennial highlight, coming soon after recent regional events, with promotions urging preparation for kingdom influence. Leadership under 2024-2026 executives, including National President Kenneth Louis and Vice President Deborah Ajayi, drives this vision of transformation.

    Convention Importance and Highlights

National conventions hold transformative power, fostering impact in young lives through encounters with God, leadership equipping, and territorial advancement. Past events like the 14th and 15th established a track record of eternal investment, prayer focus (as seen in North West Regional inputs), and openness of hearts under set vision-bearers. Expect spiritual charges, worship, strategy sessions, and networking to redeem generations, reinforcing FECA's mission since its founding as the Federation of Colleges Ex-Students’ Christian Association.
