Never Do These Things in a Relationship

Singles, take the process slow in your relationship.

Don't get so excited about love that you rush into practices and shows of affection better saved for marriage certainty.

It's wrong to buy gifts like bras, panties, boxers, or other intimate underwear during dating. Take time to know each other better. Don't hastily awaken lustful passions.

Give your relationship space to start well, transition well, and reach your expected end—without compromises that harm your wholeness.

Nothing should concern you with their underwear. How did you notice he needs boxers? How did you learn his private size? How did you figure her bra size, design, or color taste? What sparked talk of panties or sanitary pads?

I know you want to be caring, but choose other gifts: perfumes, wristwatches, bracelets, shoes, hats, etc. Leave intimate items until marriage. What's the rush? Ironically, after marriage, they'll beg you for such care. Take things one level at a time.
