Hailing from Alayi, Aba in Abia State—the Eastern Region powerhouse with 22 thriving chapters—Ugomma graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, which happens to be one of FECA's campus strongholds since 1998. Her tenure as Prayer Secretary during a formative era overlapped with national transitions like Malachy Onuwa's "Exceeding Grace" convention (2014, Enugu/Abakaliki), where fervent intercession fueled the same divine alignments that assigned offices without duplication to founders like Dr. Edak Ezeanosike.

"For me, FECA had always been what I desperately needed, because they were people that were different but did not mind being different," Ugomma reflects. "But FECA Nsukka held me by the hand and taught me all the things that I know today. So I experienced God first hand in FECA! My FECA story revolves around people." This echoes Ugwu Joy Chinemerem's namesake intrigue at Freshers Banquet, Edith Ike's void-filling matric smiles, and Echezona Umeh's soul-healing gifts—FECAites who embraced "weirdness" with passion, convictions, and hand-holding mentorship.

People-Centric Transformation

"They were people that did not mind my weirdness even when they could not relate to it; they were people that were so passionate about the things of God and have strong convictions about God," she continues. "Watching them and learning from them, I became a better me." Ugomma's evolution mirrors Miracle Onyebuchim's pressure-free formation, Kelechi Nkele's mind renewal amid rock music, and Chukwumaobi Onuoha's music platform—Nsukka's relational ecosystem of cell prayers, Sisters' forums, Spread outreaches, and Save Generation Next (SGN) turning raw potential into purpose.

Her prayer leadership amplified this: all-night sessions birthing fire baptisms like Samuel Edem's Reapers Club, intercessions sustaining conventions from 2016's "Kingdom First" (Benin) to Eastern regionals. Abia Zone's proximity fueled exchanges with neighboring Imo (17 chapters) and Rivers (5), where family spirit forged the "better me" Ugochukwu Nwokedi praised.

Surely there are times when everybody strays

Surely there are seasons when loneliness stares at you in the face

But somehow in despair you feel warm

A little glow just here and there

I know my heart as secretive as it could be

Hiding and covering as much as it could

From both loving and hateful eyes

Yet this same heart melts and uncovers all

Just with a whisper, the barest touch

All my weaknesses come crumbling down

The defenses are crushed and I become bare

Not with shame, not with guilt

My inadequacies matter no more

I forget every disgrace and every harsh times

As I stare at the beauty that lives inside of me!

I have found that forever friend

Really; I have found life's treasure!!
