Roles of the Zonal Secretary in FECA Nigeria?

  • The Zonal Secretary, unlike the Zonal Coordinator, is a different office entirely in FECA. The Zonal secretary is often seen as the one that does most of the secretarial duties in the Zone. The Zonal secretary could be a male or a female individual and often, the stipulated tenure for service is 2 years. 



    According to the cosntitution of FECA, there are roles that the Zonal Secretary must play in order for the Zone to grow/move steadily towards the vision of FECA, and these roles include the following:




    1. He or she chall assist the Zonal Coordinator in all matters that affect the zone.

    2. He or she shall keep the record of all zonal activities and meetings

    3. The zonal secretary shall be responsible for the safe keeping of the zonal funds

    4. He or she shall always prepare 

    5.  and submit a quarterly congress report, such as s a financial report of all the chapters in his or her zone to the Regional secretariat.

    6. Lastly, the zonal secretary shall answer to the regional executives and the National executives.
