How many regions in FECA Nigeria
FECA Nigeria has four regions that are very active and growing. These four regions are: Eastern region, Western Region, North-West region and North-East region. These regions have one Regional coordinator and one Regional secretary. In the year 2021, there were about five zones in North-West Region, but after the Mission to go North, organized by the national leaders, especially, the National President and his evangelism team, there was an added zone: Katsina zone, with two chapters in 2022.
In this post, we are going to be looking at the various chapters that are in the North-West region of FECA Nigeria, their venue, time of service, days of fellowship and the location. Possible phone numbers to call as well will be on display right here too.
The zones in North-West region
A zone can be referred to as a State in FECA. So it is normal to say that zones are the different states where FECA chapters can be found, with Zonal coordinators and Zonal secretaries as the persons in charge of the zones. So in a region like the North-West, there are six zones:
- Katsina Zone
- Zamfara zone
- Abuja zone
- Niger zone
- Kaduna zone and
- Nasarawa zone
These are the six zones that exist in North-West region, with their zonal representatives or coordinators. Now, these zones have chapters that are withiin them.
1. Chapters in Katsina Zone
A brief introduction of Katsina, according to Britannica, reveals that Katsina, which is a town, as well as the capital of Katsina state, is located in the northern part of Nigeria, near the Niger border. According to the source, it was probably founded about 1100 near Ambuttai, which was the residence of Katsina’s Hausa kings and the annual meeting place for the rulers of nearby Durbi, the town was named for Kacinna (Katsena, Katsina), the wife of Janzama (a Durbawa king of the time) and she was a princess of Daura (the legendary home of the Hausa people, 49 miles [79 km] east). It is in this part of Nigeria that we have FECA chapters and there are two FECA chapters in Katsina zone, namely
- FECA Kankara chapter and
- FECA Kankia
2. Chapters in Zamfara Zone
A brief history of Zamfara State is provided by Wikipedia. "The area today called Zamfara state was one of the old states like Kano, Katsina, Gobir, Kabi and Zazzau. The earliest inhabitants of Zamfara were said to have been hunters and giants. They established their first settlement at Dutsi, which was the first capital of Zamfara."
With the spread of FECA Nigeria to the Northern part of the country, there are two chapters that exist because of the the spread, and these two chapters are:
- FECA Kotrokoshi chapter and
- FECA Gusau
FECA Kotrokoshi Venue and Meeting days

3. Chapters in Abuja Zone
Abuja is the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria. It is the hub of political activities in the country. Wikipedia source reveals that it is the eight most populous state in Nigeria with many of the well-known uninversities like the famous University of Abuja, African Business School, etc. The skyline of the city, which was built largely in the 1980s, is dominated by Aso Rock, an enormous monolith. It rises up behind the Presidential Complex, which houses the residence and offices of the Nigerian president in the Three Arms Zone on the eastern edge of the city. Nearby are the National Assembly of Nigeria and the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
With the spread of FECA Nigeria to the many part of the country, there are currently 12 chapters that exist in Abuja zone, they are:
- Kubwa 1 chapter
- Kubwa 2 chapter
- Gariki chapter
- Bwari chapter
- Karmo chapter
- Nyia Nyia chapter
- Kuje chapter
- Gwagwalada chapter
- Zuba chapter
- Papi chapter
- Lugbe chapter
- "Pai" chapter (Not sure; could be Paikon Kore).

4. Chapters in Niger Zone
The Niger River is one of the biggest river in West Africa. It is in Niger State that the River Niger flows across and he Niger River is the main river of West Africa, because it extends about 4,180 km. Its drainage basin is 2,117,700 km² in area. Its source is in the Guinea Highlands in southeastern Guinea near the Sierra Leone border. There are many interesting things to see in the Niger river, like the West African Manatee which is almost extinct.
With that being said, let us look at the chapters that exist in Niger zone. There are currently 8 chapters in Nigeria zone. They are:
- Minna 1 chapter
- Minna 2 chapter
- Kaduna Road chapter
- Lapai chapter
- Morocco chapter
- Locus chapter
- Suleja chapter
- Ekwomba (Not sure of the spelling)

5. Chapters in Kaduna Zone
Kaduna is one of the oldest cities in Nigeria. It is the capital city of Kaduna State, and the former political capital of Northern Nigeria. Geographically speaking, Kaduna can be found in the north-western part of Nigeria, on the Kaduna River. It is one of the major trade centres in Nigeria and a major transportation hub as the gateway to many of the other northern parts of Nigeria, with its rail and connecting road network.
With that being said, let's look at the list of chapters that exist in Kaduna zone. There are 2 chapters and one cell in Kaduna zone, namely:
- FECA Goinngora chapter
- FECA Buwaya chapter

6. Chapters in Nasarawa Zone
Nasarawa State is a state in the Middle Belt region of Nigeria, bordered to the east by the states of Taraba and Plateau, to the north by Kaduna State, to the south by the states of Kogi and Benue, and to the west by the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. (Wikipedia, 2022). It has tqo chapters of FECA Nigeria, which are:
- Mararaba 1 chapter and
- mararaba 2 chapter
