  • Someone might be asking, "What is the meaning of RTC? Or what are the things that are done in RTC?"

RTC in FECA Nigeria is a school, a training course that every believer—FECAites peculiarly—must go through to become grounded in the Truth of the Gospel. It is an acronym that stands for Redeemers Training Course.

An interview with the Enugu Zonal Secretary 2022-2024 tenure, Ms. Nora Ugwu, on phone helped explain more about what RTC entails. According to her, "One of the reasons for the RTC is for you, for a FECAite, to know the Word of Light, Bible study, and all the basic knowledge for the growth of a believer. It comprises 10 classes in which a FECAite must complete, and in these classes he is taught well. Once he is done with the 10 classes, he will write an exam and probably a test, and he or she must pass the exam. When he or she passes, he thus becomes a fully-grown member of FECA Nigeria.

A member of FECA who has passed through RTC can now teach others in the fellowship. So it is all about the spiritual growth of a believer and requires you growing in all aspects of your life, not just the spiritual aspect, but also in matters that relate to cleanliness, family, obedience, and general excellence."

In a recently concluded RTC program at FECA Nigeria Ariaria chapter, RTC is not just a place where young people come to write exams and be taught the Word of God; they are also groomed in the place of prayer. Usually, on the day of graduation, there are chapters where there would be impartation sessions. Sometimes, gifts would be given to the best graduands.
