What is a Zone in FECA?

Zone is a word that is used frequently in Federation of Colleges Ex-Students' Christian Association (FECA), to denote State. It further means, the State, or geographical location. For instance, when someone says "I am from Lagos Zone", what the person is trying to communicate is that he is from Lagos "Zone", that is, he is from one of the chapters in Lagos State.
There are many zones in FECA Nigeria. These zones have Zonal Coordintors and Secretaries who oversee the affairs of their respective zones. Some of the Zones that exist in FECA Nigeria are:

- Akwa Ibom Zone
- Anambra Zone
- Ebonyi Zone
- Enugu Zone
- Bayelsa Zone
- Rivers Zone
- Cross River South Zone
- Cross River North Zone
- Imo Zone
- Benue Zone
- Lagos Zone

- Delta Zone
- Ogun Zone
- Oyo Zone
- Osun Zone
- Ondo Zone
- Kogi Zone
- Abuja Zone

All of these are the zones that exist in FECA Nigeria, as of 2020-2022 tenure. When you click on the link, you will be directed to FECA Nigeria website where all the chapters that exist inside a particular zone would show up and you can see the details of the venue, time of meeting, and phone numbers to contact in case you have someone that you want to connect to a particular cahpter.
This is very helpful because over the years, people have tried in one way or another to connect to a FECA chaper, especially upon leaving their home Chapter. Circumstances might cause the person to not get properly guided on how to go about the journey of finding FECA chapters in his new location. But now, with the help of the internet, one can locate the nearest FECA chapter in the area where he is and call the phone numbers that are in the directory for further information. One can thus easily go to the venue and worship with the FECAites that are in that particular chapter. Testimonies abound of people who were able to find FECA chapters in a particular area because they went online to searchh and they found the answers to their questions.
