  • FECAites

Membership of FECA Nigeria divides into two levels: student-level membership and graduate-level membership (Senior Members). Senior Members must meet these statutory criteria:

    • FECA Nigeria members who have successfully completed tertiary education or private vocational training.

    • Members who have entered full-time ministry or Christian service.

    • Individuals above 24 years old with at least four years of committed service in FECA chapters.

    • Those meeting the above who willingly get inducted into the Forum of Senior Members (FOSM).

    Senior Members Month (March 2022)

In 2022, FECA Nigeria declared March as Senior Members Month, calling alumni back to home chapters for celebration, reflection, and growth. More of this happens all the time throughout the years and even this year it will happen. Highlights from the 2022 celebration included panel discussions where FECAites submitted questions via ushers for Senior Members to answer—sharing past strategies, sustaining faith, and chapter growth lessons from "forefathers."

One-on-one sessions paired Seniors with Freshers tackling real issues like school fees struggles, sexual temptations (masturbation, pornography, or others), balancing school with FECA, and time management. These heart-to-heart talks provided confidential counseling for wise decisions, embodying FOSM's mentoring role.

Worship sessions featured Seniors leading songs from their youth—nostalgic, sometimes strange, but deeply impactful. Seniors also quizzed chapter executives on progress, met successors, and supported via hangouts, raking events, financial aid, and more to strengthen FECA's vision of unity and the New Nigeria Project.
