Her name is Onodu Joy and she lives in Enugu. She attended the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and she also served in FECA Nsukka while a student in the University. Of course she has served in many capacities in FECA Enugu zone but one of the prominent offices that she served as was in the capacity of the Financial Secretary (2016 to 2018 tenure).



When asked about her FECA story, she replied, "At first, it was hard to figure out FECA Nsukka because it was different from what I was used to. I stayed away because of this, but it was as though an invisible force kept pulling at me, bringing me closer and no matter how hard I tried, it just could not keep away. That force was love. That is what FECA has done for me. They taught me love, maturity, friendship, and plenty more.



And today, FECA is my family and I will always be a FECAite...

This story has not ended. I have written an update concerning this FECA story because Joy Onodu later got married to another FECAite, still in Enugu zone and the person happens to be a one time Zonal coordinator of FECA Nigeria Enugu zone, Mr Ugochukwu Nwokedi.

Both of them are currently living in Enugu metropolis and are very happily married. The marriage happened in the year 2023, in Enugu too. So this is what FECA can give someone as a reward! Laughs.

 Its not like a reward, but it's a choice. Because FECA Nigeria has a lot of people who married fellow FECAites. Like the marriage between our national leaders, Jane Eneji and Ola Emmanuel, Kyocher Ruth and Abel, and so on. In fact, there are more FECA weddings across the nation more than the media can cover. This happens and it is because FECAites are not just there to do fellowship and go, but to bond, and have fun doing everything. EVERY single thing done in FECA is intentional. And marriage is intentional. 

So Miss Joy Onodu is officially Mrs Joy Nwokedi.
