Marriage is a lifetime commitment and it involves you and your husband or wife alone. Every day is not for merriment in marriage. Every day is not for pleasure in marriage. Every day is not for enjoyment. Every day is not for sweet words, showing of love and care.  There will be time to fight. There will be time to nag. There will be time to have and have not. Little things can spark arguments. Little arguments can lead to nagging. Flimsy excuses can lead to serious and unwanted fights.

Upon all these, will you stay through? Will you still embrace his or her flaws? Will you show love afterward?  Ask elsewhere. All the couples who are celebrating ten, twenty, thirty and fifty years wedding anniversary have at least gotten themselves into fights once, but they chose to learn, relearn and unlearn. During courtship, she might be the best and irreplaceable; he might also be the best for you and you can’t think of another. But after wedding, he nags, she sometimes look unkempt, he throws clothes everywhere, he likes to eat from the pot, if she complains then fight ensues.

There are things you do during bachelor’s days that you must stop doing once you get married for peace to reign. There are lifestyles that you must leave behind once a man is into your life.
