During the14th National Convention of FECA Nigeria that held on the 24th to 28th of August, 2022,

During the14th National Convention of FECA Nigeria that held on the 24th to 28th of August, 2022, Comr. Nlemedim Stephen and others were chosen to pioneer the affairs of FECA Nigeria for the 2022-2024 leadership tenure. These able men and women are the ones, selected, screened and elected to lead FECA Nigeria unto greater heights. 

There are many of them who applied for the different offices in the FECA leadership ladder, but as usual, the Lord will always have his way. One of the surprising facts about the new leadership is that most of the new national leaders were zonal leaders before. That is to say that they were once zonal coordinators before becoming national leaders. What makes it surprising is that  the regionals aren't gonna be nationals, it's like a jump from level two to level four.

 However, there were some ex-regional leaders who emerged as national leaders during the convention. For instance, Comr. Nlemedim Stephen emerged as the new national president of FECA Nigeria, with Maryann Anorue, (who was a zonal at FECA Jos zone) as the new national vice president for the 2022-2024 tenure.  See the list of the 2022-2024 national and regional leaders of FECA for below:

First Speech of Nlemedim Stephen as the national president of FECA Nigeria (2022-2024)

So, after the former national president, Mr Edem Samuel officially handed over, the new national president is supposed/expected to make an opening speech and the new national general secretary is expected to make his or her first announcement. Being in the convention venue, I was able to write down the first speech of Comr. Nlemedim Stephen while he was speaking.  According to him, he said, "Thank God for the success of the last  tenure and the new leaders that he has given to us in this Overcomers Convention. Thank God for the outgoing nationals. We thank the FOSM for their support and responses, thank you all."

Immediately he finished the speech, the camp officials of the Overcomers Convention were called forth and then they were dissolved. That was the first executed, or maybe the second (because the speech was the first) task of Comr. Nlemedim Stephen as the new national president.
