Back 2 School Project, a Program in FECA Nigeria

Back to School is one of the Outreach strategies that FECA Nigeria implements in order to reach out to the young children/teens who are in primary schools also those who are in secondary schools. This program is an intentional move to carry out school outreaches across Nigeria with the sole aim of redeeming the desolation of our land and generation.

The following are some of the strategic nuggets that FECA National Outreach Coordinator (2020-2022), Mr. Michael Bassey, brought to the focus of FECAites. In other words, this is the guideline for the Back 2 School project.

Parents/teachers training on how to handle their teens/children in the 21st century
Leadership training for school functionaries. This focus will look at purpose discovery and why teenagers study courses they are not meant to study in the University, the way forward, as well as how to handle youthful uncertainties; the true test of leadership, attitude of a leader, character of a leader, and lots more about leadership.
Community development service and projects in the schools and around the environment.
Counseling sessions for students who are passing through challenges of life such as, youthful uncertainties, difficulties in understanding physical/body changes, peer pressure, premarital sex, addiction, alcohol, pornography, lesbianism, and other things.
School invasion in terms of strategic meetings. This would include school outreaches, weekend outreaches in schools, Moral Instruction sessions with the schools and other strategies.

Back to School project helps to uphold the vision of FECA Nigeria because it is what actually brought a lot of people into FECA.
