In one of his daily newsletters, he described Job as a just man because according to scriptures, "Job was not simply some individualistic person with little care for others. As an employer, he knew he must be fair to his employees. He was a responsible boss to his employees."

This message is targeted at the brothers of FECA Nigeria because in this last quarter of the year 2021, the focus is The Temperate Soldier (2 Timothy 2:22) and it is necessary to take a cue from the life of a role model. The role model that the brothers are looking up to in this last quarter is Job.

According to the National External Coordinator, "If we are or want to become employees, what are our standards going to be? To make as much money as possible? Or to be ethical and equitable as possible? Job might have been a successful businessman, but he did not that blind hi to his employees' need for justice. He did not have a superiority complex. He knew that all are equal before God who created us and to whom we must all give account."

So when it comes to business and the first question above, many of us guys are apt to tick the yes button because that is what many of us wants out of business, even if it means stepping on a few people's toes. We do so because we are not looking at the consequences, or better said, we don't want to see the consequences. 

However, the message from Etinosa Israel admonishes thus: "it's good to have a perspective of what is beyond the present. It is good to remember where we all come from: naked in our mothers' wombs. It's also good to take cognizance of where we all are headed: the grave. The question is, how do we live now to honour God and to treat our fellow humans with equity and kindness?
